I moved my sister in here from NC.I was told by the owner Marie that I had to move her out (after only a week) because she could get more money off of mentally handicapp residents...

ACHA Investigates and Finds NO WRONG DOING 5/3/2012

Yes a complaint was filed with ACHA -Assisted Living department. After this complaint was filed an officer was sent to investigate the claim and found Middleburg Assisted Living Facility, Inc. was not in violation of any rules. The state of Florida posts results of surveys on their website. Due to privacy rules I will not discuss in detail any comments posted in the review posted on 10/28/2011. Do not put your family member here. 10/28/2011

I moved my sister in here from NC.I was told by the owner Marie that I had to move her out (after only a week) because she could get more money off of mentally handicapp residents.My sister was also only fed cold cereal and sandwiches while she was there and isolated from the other residents because everyone has assigned seating which is against patient's rights.By law you have to give a 45 day notice to move someone out. I have reported this facility to the state. more
