Efficient Service! 12/4/2013

I cannot give a strong review for my attempts to get help with my malfunctioning factory installed car alarm on my elantra via phoning in. Couldn't get a call back from a service writer and was told they did no work on aftermarket alarms. I tried to clarify in a message that it was a factory installed alarm on my car that I had purchased from this dealership. So, I decided to simply set up an appt. via the internet service and that was the charm. I brought the car in. Dealt directly with a wonderful service writer who simply listened to my description of the problem. The mechanics/techs went right to work and my alarm was fixed and a new remote was programmed to work with it. A second service writer took over for the first gentleman and he was just as thorough. Overall, the great direct experience more than makes up for the shaky response to my phone calls. more

Service Manager is Horrible 10/15/2013

The person who checked me in, was excellent professional and kind. My car was completed quicker than anticipated, however due to the Service Mgr at this location, I will NEVER return. He was rude and condescending to me. While in the waiting room, he yelled and berated his staff, in front of customers. He is obnoxious, unprofessional and a bully!! He is the reason I will not return. The sales department is great, I bought 2 previous cars from Springfield in 2005 and 2007 and most of the rest of the staff are kind and friendly. more

Good service desk / bad mechanics / car burglarized 8/6/2013

The actual mechanic-service is typically average at this location. The service desk workers are the only reason I returned..until now. My car was left on the lot for parts, and was burglarized despite supposedly having a lot attendant. My car was ransacked with alot of items left inbetween my seats and the center consul, as those were items undesirable to steal. The service manager shrugged it off by saying 'we did give you a discount on the brake fluid flush.." rationalizing the burglary. Where has customer service gone? LoL more
