Mid-Suffolk Pediatric Assn

I had been going to Mid Suffolk since my daughter was born in 2003. I now have 4 kids and the last two are twins. They turned me away for physicals because they could not verify my insurance coverage which is valid. 10 years of going there and they wouldn't let us in. Even if it wasn't valid I would think 10 years of loyalty would allow us the courtesy of getting to be seen and dealing with the insurance separately. I was completely disgusted that they would turn us away and will be leaving there practice. They are not good enough to treat people so poorly. more

Mid Suffolk is a great practice open 7 days a week and open on holidays for short hours in the mornings. You can always see your doctor for physicals etc it is great to get to know a few doctors just in case your doctors off or on vacations etc. they have a lot of doctors and of course you may not like some I find that anywhere. You may have different personalities etc the staff is good the nurses are knowledgable and so caring with your children. I personally have a very open mind doctors are human they aren't psychics so sometimes they can't diagnose something right off the bat I work myself in the medical field and I can't stand people that put a doctor down because it took 2 visits to diagnose. So to me yes you can not like an office due to rudeness or those types of things but don't jump to hate just because you disagree about something. Overall I've been going there for 12 years with both my daughters and my children love it there and I do as well and would recommend them to anyone which I have and I have to say I know so many people that go there. I go to the hauppauge office more

I highly recommend this pediatric group. They are open 7 days a week with several evening hours. Kids always get sick on the weekends and it's been great having doctors available to see them within as quickly as 15 min from the time of my call. Excellent doctors that my kids love and have bonded with over the years. Very spacious waiting areas with a separate sick area. Waiting time is typically 5-15 minutes long. Highly recommended!!! more
