Mid-America Museum is a Must See! 10/8/2005

If you are visiting Hot Springs, be sure to check out the Mid-America Museum, it's a wonderful array of fascinating exhibits from science to natural history. The museum is always changing the exhibits so it never gets boring. There is also a gift shop with great small gifts to take home with you to remember Hot Springs. There is another area with reptiles, birds and other small animals that the kids love to look at. For family fun, be sure to take the entire group to visit the Museum, there is something special for everyone to enjoy. more

Great Fun Ahead 8/20/2005

This is a great place. There are lots of interactive exhibits for everyone, a trail to walk if you get there before it closes, and an ever-changing array of informational exhibits. The gift shop has interesting books, cards and toys, and the price was reasonable as well. Take your time and don't rush, there's plenty of time to play at all the fun spots! more

Always fun, Always Stimulating 8/19/2005

I have been to Mid-America a dozen times, from when I was a kid to bring kids along. I have never gotten tired of it. There is always something new at the museum and some of the old favorites too. The museum is a science museum, but it is all kind of sciences. From Natural Science, to chemistry, to biology this place has it all. It makes learning fun. The kids absolutely adore this place; I remember being enamored as a kid. I go back now and it still facinates me. The museum also has a small aquarium that's fun along with other insects, reptiles and birds you can watch. A trip to Hot Springs must include a visit here! more
