Mid America Appliance Svc

My Tv has been down since September 3rd 2008. i have to go thru service net to get my tv serviced thru warrenty and they always go with mid america service. I have had multiple techs out to take a look at it. The first tech that came out to look at it was so rude that he answered a personal call from his girlfriend and started to yell at her while at my house. i have kids in the house and had to ask him to step outside. That tech diagnosed the problem with the tv as a cable problem. i then replaced every cable and not fixing the problem the tv went out compleately on nov 12th 2008. i called service net again they again sent out mid america servce (a deferent tech this time) who said it was the lamp. wrong again, they then said it was the power supply. i have been waiting for the power supply to show up for two weeks to check again to see if this fixes the problem. it is now December 16th 2008. this company has the worst customer service that i have ever worked with. I am a biomedical technician at a hospital and if i ever treated my customers the way this company does i would not have a job. Pros: none Cons: everything more

After reading the reviews for this company, I felt the need to provide my opinion and experience with this company. I recently used this servicer to repair my refrigerator. They were recomended by the manufacturer. They came out and charged me one fee to look at the unit and then told me what was wrong with the refrigerator. They ordered a new defrost thermostat and water valve for it. When they came back to install the parts, just a few days later, they repaired the unit and asked me to pay for the parts and labor. The repair amount was reasonable and matched the repair estimate that was given to me when they were there the first time. I have and will recomend this company. Avoid this company at all cost!!! If the appliance issue is not something that is easily identified, this company has a tendency to experiment at your cost. Unfortunately this is one of the few BOSCH approved (I have no idea why) service locations, but you'd be better off using the alternative. Pros: They have one nice and dilligent technician Cons: Everything else more

Right at $100.00 just to come out to look at a problem. They keep all their options open by not being able to tell you what could be wrong. Very guestimate work. I stopped them before my bill got to high Pros: The come out to you Cons: Lack of knowledge and cost of service is high more
