Thank you Larry! For the great outstanding hassle free service that Michigan Motor Exchange provided to our company. You did everything that you said you do and more. I admit that...

Congratulations on a pleasurable experience. It was slightly more than two years ago when I paid MME $4,500 and waited more than five weeks to have an engine rebuilt. My problem...

I had bought an engine from Michigan Motor Exchange 7 years ago and since resold my vehicle to a family member. Then my daughter recently blew up her engine right before leaving for college. The first place I thought of was Michigan Motor Exchange. I took it in and they replaced the engine in her Cavalier. They were professional and very reasonable. Now I feel good sending her off to college with a dependable vehicle and warranty too. more

I took my 2004 Durango into Michigan Motor Exchange two months ago and had them replace my engine. My experience with them was a very positive one from the start. They were very thorough in explaining everything that needed to be done. and told me at the time I might need additional parts after diagnosing the problem. They called me back to ok everything and explained that these were preventive maintanance items. It has been two months now and I have 1200 miles on the engine and everything is running smoothly. I would highly recommend them and I would not hesitate to go back to them with future business.\r more

Would highly recommend. In the summer of 2010 both I and my father’s boat engines went bad. My 1973 inboard blew a head gasket and began arcing between 2 cylinders which then caused the cylinder head to crack and began dumping water into the crankcase. My father’s boat had a hydraulic valve lifter go bad (froze and stopped rotating) which then caused the camshaft to wear and pushed metal shavings throughout the engine and you know what happens after that. Took both boats to Michigan Motor Ex in Waterford Mich. We received excellent service from a very courteous staff, the work was done on pretty much within the time frame and they also tried to save me some money off the original estimate by reusing some original parts. I declined that offer since the boat is already there, and instructed them to just put on all new parts. They also repaired a leaking transmission seal for me free of charge. Afterwards I had a few questions regarding the maintenance of the rebuilt engines, they politely and patiently answered my questions. We were very satisfied with the service. more

A miserable failure in every respect. After reading numerous five star reviews dripping with praise and upon looking at the Michigan Motor Exchange advertising, with all their boasts about expert workmanship etc., one would find it difficult to believe that these highly skilled professionals could deliver a defective engine three times in succession. Believe it. I do, I am trying to live with the garbage that this company has provided me with and the customer satisfaction that turned out to be a joke, full of empty promises. I really opened a Pandora's box when I made the unwise decision to do business with this company. Being held a warranty hostage, my only reparations from Michigan Motor Exchange has been the offer to take a fourth crack at an engine that should have been done correctly in the first place. This is their idea of a good faith gesture and proof that customer satisfaction is their number one priority. What arrogance, to further prolong the great inconvenience their defective product has caused. How many times must one suffer this intolerable injustice? Refund is not in their credo of fair play or making things right, except to say that it has to be discussed with another one of the owners. An owner who also promised satisfaction some months earlier if I would trust them. I did. They failed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I do not trust them. I have been reduced to spending a great sum of money for rentals or begging for rides so I can accomplish every day routines. If I were to choose a company that personified indifference and a non caring attitude, Michigan Motor Exchange would be that company. more
