Michelle's Hair Salon

Michelle's Hair Salon is a terrible place to get your hair and Michelle herself is a fraud. I went after seeing amazing reviews online and got horrible color. Went back to ""fix"" it and was treated terribly. Still looked bad though. I think she has people write reviews to get customers. more

I go to this salon a couple times a month and every time my hair is perfect. Color is exactly what I wanted. I am a student at Pepperdine and always going out so my hair always has to be perfect and hot. more

Michelle knows exactly what to do with my hair even when I dont. Ive always been able to come in and give a basic idea of what I wanted (cut or color) and Michelle has always given me better than I even pictured in my head. Heck, Ive given her permission at times to do whatever she wants and have loved it each time! She is so creative when it comes to color and I can always trust her with my long hair. Shes always been willing to go above and beyond for me, coming up with new formulas to ensure the best results. I have seen pictures from some of the fashion and hair shows she's done and cant wait for her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. You can tell when you walk in that its an upper scale salon but it doesnt have a snooty feel to it. Everybody is very friendly and you can tell that they enjoy being there. I find this very misleading. I don't know if these people got paid to post 5-star reviews or what but it's not possible for every single review to be 5-stars and to all sound like an advertisement. Having gone to this salon based on this and not finding my experience to be as perfect as one would expect, I am going to look into this with my attorney. My highlights look like they were done by a beauty school student. Brassy and orange. My cut is ok but some parts in the front were chopped up way too short and we only discussed taking some off the back. And the price? Apparently they won't even give you a quote for a certain service, it depends on what she ends up doing and will charge you what she feels like in the end. So how did this person get all 5-star reviews??? more

From the reception desk to the stylists, everyone there is professional and friendly. You won't find anyone with attitude here, just great, smart people who know what they're doing. more

Michelles Hair Salon is a great, cozy hair salon. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel at home. I absolutely adore them. They are a master at color. Very attentive and listens to what YOU want. They dont do what they want unlike other colorists. They actually listen to you. Like a true professional artist. Michelle has been my hairdresser for at least 10 years now. I met her by chance when a friend recommended me to her and havent gone to anyone else since. Shes seen me through many different hair styles -- all of them were cut and styled perfectly. The shop is comfortable and friendly. \r \r Michelle is also flexible and will make a last minute appointment if she possibly can. I just called her this morning for a quick color treatment that she will do Friday evening. She does have some evening hours, if that is a concern. \r \r I highly recommend Michelles Hair Salon as a great place to get a first class hair style. more

I have been living in Malibu for the last 4 years and have tried almost every single salon there is around town and was never satisfied until now. They are amazing..they did an excellent job with the Brocato straightening treatment for my hair...no more frizz, no more dull, dry hair. I just have to write and say what a lovely experience I had at this hair salon. From the moment you walk through the doors the staff makes you feel like a VIP!!! I can't wait to go back!!! The staffs never makes you feel rushed and are always making sure you have what you need. The owner of the salon made it a point to introduce herself to everyone and thank them for coming which I thought was classy. I was skeptical at first since I have been seeing the same stylist in Miami for 9 years. I thought I would give it a try and was pleasantly surprised.
