NOTHING stands out for the type of restaurant they ""claim"" to be. Our waitress was definately not interested in waiting on tables or being there for that matter. Menu has many entree choices but few appetizers and soups. The wine list, by the glass is very limited. I ordered the seafood stuffed soft shell crab.....""Oh, we don't have that...we can't get fresh ones"" Good, I certainly don't want frozen but good idea to tell the customers what is off the menu for the night. Crabmeat suffed mushrooms.....only crab about them was the name....all seasoned bread with MAYBE some seafood stock for taste. The salad was beyond ordinary with no choice of dressings, I had Shrimp Michael....tasty but not 5 star as they claim to be. Others at the table ordered prime rib..........strangest looking prime rib I have ever seen...maybe as thick as my little finger with out the rings of fat that are so characteristic of that cut.....looked more like a rib eye steak....very chewey...side order that accompanied the meat was a spoon and I do not exaggerate ..a spoon of potato and a few slices of sauted veggies...again 5 star ?????. The service was awful with only 5 tables of patrons....we had to constantly go find our waitress...did not offer bread until we asked the bus boy if bread was available. For the price ,no way. There are too many other good eating establishments in Slidell. Palmetto's is excellent also Nathan's. Will not see us there again.
Pros: Ambiance is very nice
Cons: Food is ordinary and over priced. Service awful.
