Michaels has long had a reputation for its poor customer service, and I recently came to experience that poor customer service first-hand. I recent;y went to the company's Moorestown, New Jersey store to have a picture framed to use as a birthday gift. I was told that it would take two weeks to frame, which worked perfectly because the party was three weeks away. I asked not once, not twice, but three times whether I would be called when it was ready or if I needed to call them and was assured each time that I would receive a call. Well, a month passed and I finally gave up on them and called and it was there all along. The party came and went and I now have something I don't need. The store manager's response to my complaints was pretty impotent; he didn't even hint that there was something I could do about it - and didn't even hint that he understood that there was a problem in his store and that he might even consider looking into it and doing something about it.
