Disappointed 8/19/2007

I have worked with Michael's Catering in the past for many events at Chateau Julian. I chose them based off of their menus and how wonderful their events have turned out. When I selected them to work on my wedding I was very excited. Our menu was wonderful and our tasting was just as great. When we finalized all of the details we made sure there were some very specific requirements they met on our contract, nothing too difficult, but having the servers pour wine during the dinner, bread with olive oil, butter etc on the tables, no eggplant in the grilled veggies as I'm highly allergic. They did a great job taking note, but the day of our wedding it was a total catering disaster. The grilled veggies were not sliced and grilled like they were presented at our tasting, they were diced up and worst of all there was eggplant in our mix. We asked the servers to pre plate all of the head tables food as well as the parents table. When it got to us, it was cold and gross looking.
