Cool stuff -- that is right and a lot of customers purchased those very expensive paint kits, easel, brushes and numerous art items to learn to PAINT as you had advertised !!! Now that we have spent hundreds of dollars -- you discontinue all the classes. While painting our "last" class yesterday, we had at least a dozen people stop in the door way asking for papers to fill out to sign up for a class. Such a rewarding time of ones life to interact with others from all walks of life and to have such a talented instructed straight from "Bob Ross" school of art instruction. Only is art good for the soul, it's good for giving one the opportunity to express themselves and so relaxing and more important to learn and use our minds and talents each time we achieve a different level of painting. No where could anyone had a more pleasant and talented instructor and ages in our classes ranged from 13 years old to a grandmother in a wheel chair accompanied by her grandson. Michaels is the best place when you have a craft-related project to complete. My last trip to this store involved purchasing yarn for a blanket I am knitting, markers for my son, and press on letters for a project one of my daughters was working on. All of it was in one store and we also found several sale items and signed up for a knitting class while we were there. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Very good selection of arts and crafts for nearly every project! The prices are generally reasonable, especially when they mark down items. It is sometimes hard to find an employee to help if you have a questions and there is often a line at the register. more

Michaels is a great store for the craft/hobby person. Their selection is great. I love all their kids craft stuff and their FREE idea cards that are hanging in the aisles. If you get the Sunday paper you can find a 40% off coupon on one regular priced item making that purchase a really good deal. more
