What a joke of a company!! Completely dishonest, is not looking to meet customer's satisfaction and completely lacks in owning up to responsibility!!
Had my items shipped from Boston to San Jose, CA - everything arrived, however, two pieces arrived broken (one in shambles).
After submitting my claim form, I was denied!!!! A pedestal table had a small broken piece but still attached to the body- one total piece - it arrived in 5000 pieces! The delivery guy stated that the item was not properly packaged for cross country shipment.
An antique mirror with a detached woodwork sent - one complete piece, however, the frame broke and arrived in three pieces (mirror completely disattached)! Not properly packaged - just shoved in a box with a sheet; completely lacked padding, etc knowing that this was a FRAGILE item!
Photos of my furniture were provided but because these items were ""BROKEN"" prior to delivery, Michael's Movers is not responsible - when asked why MM doesn't inform clients of this ""company policy"", Alex S (a-hole and person responsible for approving and denying claims) stated that if Michael's Movers clients were informed, MM wouldn't make ""business"".
Called and left messages for the owner, Michael, another a-hole - no response, callback, acknowledgements or re-evaulation of my items/form.
Reporting to the Better Business Bureau - this company is TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
