I went in for my regular hair appointment at Michael Meno's Salon in Laguna Niguel. I was quite happy going there since my past experience with ""KIM"" was great. But as soon as I sat down on the chair, the first sign that it would not go so well was when Kim said that she had just taken a class on bob hair styles and she wanted to pratice the ""new technique"" on me. I should have ran like a bat out of hell! but I sat there as she cut layers away into what is now known as the longest bad hair day for me. When she was done, my looked good, not the style that we had talked about on my previous visit, but I though ""it's hair, it will grow back."" A week passed and my hair settled into layers of a mom-cut with a hint of fruit bowl! I was so upset! I did not want layers, nor did I want a MOM CUT; what I wanted and and paid for was a sassy bob with length in the front. I called and arranged to see her a few days later, a Friday...Sadly I missed the appointment because I have a J O B and had to work. I did, however come into her salon unexpectedily the next morning, Saturday. I spoke with a very nice young and sympathetic woman who completley understood my disgust with my current DO. As I was complaining and showing her that cut was not only different from my request, my hair was CHOPPY on the right side, which is highly visible. I demanded to be seen by Kim right then and there,,, when all of a sudden my phone rang and guess who it was?!! None other than Kim herself calling me from within the confines of her salon instead of coming out to see me in person. Talk about adding insult to injury! She was rude and unapologetic, refused to see me, and was simply surprisingly nasty to me. At that point I was in tears, knowing that I would have to face the world, yet another day with his SH**Y hair cut that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Now if this is the quality of customer service that is offered, no thank you. Now Ladies, think twice; next time your well-paid hair stylist says "" let me try this new technique on you that I just learned over the weekend, and it's Tuesday, the first day of business"" run for the hills! O Yea, I want my $15 tip back too!
