I am addicted! 6/19/2003

I visited La-Cai Noodle House recently and I was so impressed. It is a clean and quaint dining room with good service. Luckily we grabbed that last available table. The crab wontons were crisp without being oily. I also highly recommend the flat rice noodles ($7) and the Lemon Grass Chicken ($5.50) with Chili. The dishes are VERY reasonably priced, and there is plenty left over to take home. Next time I will be sure to try the egg rolls and PHO (beef noodle soups). I can't wait. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Parking more

The best ""egg rolls"" ever 6/5/2003

The food here was amazing! I was in Salt Lake City for just a week and ate at this restaurant three times. The egg rolls were honestly the best I've had yet on this continent. Definitely a must try! And the Pho is fantastic! Pros: Egg Rolls, Food in general, Inexpensive Cons: Hard to understand, Building wasn't nice more

love this place! 7/18/2002

La-Cai Noodle House has some of the best Vietnamese food in Salt Lake. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. The soups and vermicelli dishes are my favorite. the atmosphere is a bit divy, but it is easy to get past once you try the food. Pros: food, service, food more

  • The Scene
Once a Mexican take-out restaurant, La-Cai looks like an unlikely place for a noodle house. The exterior is a bit shabby, but the dining room is clean and service is friendly....
