Boston restaurants sometime seem like second class citizens to New York restaurants, although thankfully this has been changing over the past several years. Meze is one restaurant in Boston that easily surpasses its New York counterparts. The decor is exciting, with an open kitchen and nicely laid out bar area. The menu has great variety with many small plates (Meze) that can be shared for a casual dinner with friends. For a special occasion, the entrees are outstanding. Lamb and seafood preparations are well structured and nicely presented. The wine list features some great Greek wine. You will feel like you are on vacation at this incredible restaurant.
The food is very high end, the best example being that a traditional Greek salad is presented with Heirloom tomatoes.
