Meyerland Animal Clinic ROCKS! You won't find a better place for correct, necessary, caring, compassionate treatment of your pets. Have been coming here for almost 12 years and won't go anywhere else. The entire staff is caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Vining is the best! But the great thing is, if he is not there, I can see any of the staff without worry. MAC is the best in Texas! more

This doctor is the BEST in the world. Have been bringing my critters to him for almost 12 years. He is compassionate, intelligent, instinctive in his diagnoses, and goes the distance to be sure both owner and pet are doing well. Highly recommend him and the whole clinic! more

We have used Meyerland Animal clinic for so many years. My pets have seen many of their vets and every one has been attentive, professional and caring. They always take time to explain what is happening and draw pictures for assistance. We recently had our precious dachshund at the vet for a very serious illness and she was close to death. Dr. Inman, Dr. Werner and Dr. Vining all spent some time with us at different moments. They each gave tender assessments of bad news with full explanations. The present end of the story is that our sweet Emma turned the corner and celebrated her 15 birthday with us. There are many vets that are closer to where we live, but the care and concern and relationship we have with Meyerland is well worth the drive. We also want to mention that when there was a costly test or procedure that was possible, they included us in the decision without forcing expensive items to our surprise. They offered written estimates of total cost of treatment. When Emma had to be hospitalized they encouraged us to visit her any time we liked. We did and it was good to spend that time with her especially thinking she was not going to survive. The entire staff was welcoming and spoke of her and what happened throughout the day, also encouraging us. Over the past 35 years there have been nothing but good experiences for me. I highly recommend them and know you will feel the warmth we always have. more

I have been going to this clinic for years and the doctors and staff are great and patient! When my yorkie had to have surgery the doctors made me feel that my pup was in a very safe place. I'm glad to have such great people my in my dogs life!!!! more

We love this place. We have been taking our dogs there since we moved on this side of town. They are very helpful and always willing to answer any questions we have no matter what they are about. The clinic is always clean and inviting when you walk in the door. We have extended family that now takes their pets here too!!! more

Finally I found a place that could figure out what was wrong with my dog. I had been to two other vets already and no one could fix my poor little Westie. FInally After talking to my breeder I was told to go to Meyerland. It was a long drive but boy was it worthwhile to go. After just a little more testing, the doctor told me where the other vets had gone wrong and she fixed little Annie! Now she gets a shot every month and she is totally back to normal. I will tell all my friends about this great place!! more

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Meyerland Animal Clinic for 20 years, and they've always taken such great care of them. When I had to put my 13 year old dog to sleep this week, the vet and the staff cried as much as I did. They were terrific throughout his long bout with cancer, and they always were happy to see him when he visited. He received extra-special care when he boarded, and they made us feel welcome whenever we came in. more

They blew the diagnosis for my dog, they love to run a lot of tests and run the bill up, and the attitude seems to be keeping the clients going through as quickly as possible. They make more money that way. Will never use them again! more

We started using this vet after moving to the area and adopting a feral cat. They really care about what they do and the entire staff is always courteous, no matter how full the waiting room is. I have probably dealt with 5 different Vets there and they were all great. Prices are not the cheapest in the city, but they are reasonable. If you express concern about cost they do their best to accommodate you. Highly recommended for anyone living near the Meyerland area. more

I really recommend this Vet. They were polite, caring, and very professional. I took my new doggie there that I got from the pound and she had a few medical problems. The Vet (Dr. Bryant) diagnosed the problems easily and recommended a couple other things that made sense anyway. I never felt like I was being manipulated into any unnecessary treatments or additional costs. They have 6 Vets on staff so it is very easy to get an appointment and emergency hours as well. And Im saving the best for last: The price was EXTREMELY affordable!! more

Called and wanted some information but the woman was unable to give me a straight answer. She only wanted to charge me for the largest kennel she had without even seeing my puppy and as soon as I said he was a Pit Bull she went silent and changed her tone. I told her ?He is a lovable and friendly pet? and I felt it unfortunate that she made me feel judged and unwelcomed because he was a Pit. \r Now I understand that it may have just been this woman but first impressions last a life time and I will never call or visit this place ever. Not to mention that our 11 year old Golden Retriever was going to need to stay there as well. If I called a baby sitter and she sounded this unenthusiastic about her job I would do the same. more

Let me re-phrase... I certainly did not mean to call the competency of any of the staff into question because they are, indeed, top notch - if not the best to be found anywhere. I just didn't appreciate or need the ill-informed lecture about the e-collar. Leave it in the car and you'll probably be fine. What I was trying to say was that it may not be the best for some hunting humans. more

I had a great experience at this clinic. All of the staff really care about the pets, and so many have been there for so long, that when I come back, they know me and my dog. The doctors gave me all the time I needed to ask my questions, and then the assistant stayed with me and answered even more as I was checking out. I recommend this place to everyone who cares about their pet. more

Meyerland Animal Clinic is a good outfit. The facilities are excellent, staff is professional and upbeat and the doctors are very good. However, if you are the owner of a working/hunting dog and have the sensibilities common and appropriate to the owner/handler of a working animal, this may not be the place for you. Do not expect understanding of or sympathy for any force training methods nor for intact animals. more

Excellent Animal clinic! One of the best veterinary office setups I've ever seen. They have many intelligent and very nice doctors and staff. All the equiptment is top notch. People are constantly coming into the clinic to check on the animals even when it is closed. more

A relative in Austin, TX, was referred to this Animal Hospital (THREE HOURS AWAY) because they had special medicine, equipment and techniques to help save his dog's life. I met him and the cute Dalmatian at the Hospital and Dr. Werner was extremely thorough and helpful in treating the dog. Sometimes we will do anything for our pets, so we appreciate having special clinics like this one that will help so much. more
