Worst

The food is very cheap here. For under ten dollars, my husband and I both had an entree and dessert as well as drinks and a side of cheese dip! Food was not that great. More Me...

There's not enough room for me to say how much I love this place. I hear a lot of people say that it's not real mexican food. What is? Tex mex, SoCal Mex, Gulf coast Mex? The truth is, is that Mexican Villa is a good Mexican inspired restaraunt. Anyone that leaves here hungry has a problem. My favorite is the Sancho Enchilada style. Without a question my favorite place to eat in town. more

One of the FIRST Mexican Restaurants in Springfield 12/7/2008

The Mexican Villa on South National is the original location of one of the oldest Mexican Restaurants in Springfield. People still flock to it for lunch and dinner in spite of the dated decor and darkness of the restaurant... a testament to the delicious recipes that have not changed in at least 30 years! Close to the University and Phelps grove park so you can walk off the calories. more
