I came into town from Houston for work last Friday, nervous that I wouldn't make it without getting a flat tire. The two rear tires on my vehicle were completely bold. I looked up for the best place for tires in Victorville and “Mexican Tire Shop” was the first one to pop up. I called and was quoted an amazing price for two tires I drive a charger and new tires are hard to find for this car and to top it off they aren't cheap. \r I drove up and the guy outside knew I was the one who called about the tires. He repeated the price ($180 for two almost like new tires... the cheapest I had found in my hometown is $170 for ONE tire) and before I could sit down he had the rear of my car jacked up and the tires were off. I was in and out in 20 minutes!! \r I was so impressed I called my wife in Texas the moment I left this amazing place. We are coming back to Victorville on February 28th for another convention and will be coming again to Mexican Tire Shop to get 4 more tires for my wife’s BMW \r Great Service. Great Prices. Great Selection. Thank You Guys!!!\r more

I have four vehicles all of which get driven SEVERAL miles yearly plus various trailers so I usually end up buying at least one set of tires a year. I live in a rural area so the big chain stores have a limited selection and their prices leave a lot to be desired. Because of this I usually end up purchasing my tires at this little mama’s store on 7th Street is called Mexican Tires. When purchasing tires at this place I have found that they have a variety of used tires that looked if they are new\r Comparing their quality and prices to a chain store Mexican Tires usually has lower prices (sometimes significantly lower depending on the tire) the consumer that shops in big tire store has to compare the total price or “out the door” price to get the full picture. \r \r A recent example was when I was purchasing tires for a 1999 Ford F250. I had narrowed my choice to two tires that I knew from experience would work well on this truck, Yokohama Geolander AT/S and BF Goodrich T/A-KO. Comparing the prices at Mexican Tire I found a nice pair for only $200.00 out the door. No one can beat that price.\r The next set of tires I bought from Mexican Tire was 195-65-15 Goodyears for a Toyota Camry and in that case the difference in price was substantial. All four for only $200.00\r Definitely check around and remember to add the installation costs before making your purchase, with money as tight as it is these days every penny counts!\r As for service I have nothing but good things to say about Mexican Tire. Service has always been very quick and I have never had a problem with their service. Their selection is usually larger than any other tire shop in town. Their prices are accordingly with the quality of their tires\r Well so if you are looking for a less common size or a particular tire, great quality, fair prices, MexicanTire will probably have it even when others do not. \r more

This morning I took my car here to get all 4 new tires installed for my 2008 Element. They gave me a price that beat Americas Tires prices and all other places I’ve called. Literally saved me some serious money and very appreciative for that. I took my car in sooner then expected because of a flat that Americas Tires could not fix and they didn't even tell me that I had a nail in my tire until my dad saw it. Thanks a lot Americas Tires for your “great customer service” (sarcastically saying). Manager of Americas Tires just didn't seem too interested in my flat tire, he was more into his breakfast Jack from Jack in the Box, the truth! Anyways, I met Maggie and she inspected my tires and my left driver's side panel that was damaged due to an accident. She immediately informed me that my alignment was off and would need to get it fixed. She also gave me some very informative information regarding my accident and car problems that I took in with a lot of thought and understanding. \r \r I wasn't even in the shop for more than 40 minutes and already, my tires were installed and car was ready to go. I couldn't believe it when Francisco told me ""alright boss, you're ready to go"" ...and he was looking right at me and I was just in shock.\r \r The owner, the staff-MEXICAN TIRE SHOP...knows, KNOWS, knows how to take care of their customers. I'll even come back for my boyfriend’s tires or other needs for my car. These people DESERVE my business. Trust me, if you need great quality tires at a good price, Head over to Mexican Tire Shop in Victorville! \r Thank you Maggie and Francisco for all your help!\r more

Great Place for Tires 5/9/2012

I was in need of some new tires, and I didn't feel like going back to Costco this time around, so I decided to do a search to see what people are saying about tire shop. After searching through the list, I settled for Mexican Tire - the one that has not only the highest, 5-star rating, but also one that has the most reviewers (so I know it's not a fluke). After my experience there last week, I can see why it was able to gain so many 5-star ratings. And I'm about to make it one more 5-star rating. I got there just when it opened at 8 am - already a couple of people there waiting. The guy immediately took care of my needs, despite not having an appointment. I needed four new tires. The Lady showed me a set “take-offs” 225-60-17 Michelin for only $320.00. Costco will charge me about $700 for exactly the same tires. I knew it was the best deal in town. Everything was done within a half an hour (installation, balance, water checked, everything), which I found to be very impressive. When I was about to pay, the Lady told me that instead of charging me the original quoted price for the new valve stems, she decided to knock it down to just –free on the house-, (I requested the new vales because the tires I was getting look so new and I thought you need to change them whenever you get new tires). I really appreciate her honesty - she could have charged me the regular price and I wouldn't know it. Instead, she saved me twenty bucks. I highly recommend this place - good customer service, quick, and as many other reviewers have commented, they won't try to charge you for unnecessary junk. I don't think I've ever had this kind of experience from the dealer. more

Definitely The Best!! 4/25/2012

I highly recommend this place! I've been coming here with all my cars for over 3 years now and have never been dissatisfied with their service. Everyone is friendly and willing to work with you to solve the problems you may have with your vehicle’s tires. Around the time I had my second car I purchased 4 brand new tires and lived in the city. A week or two went by and I had a flat due to driving through a construction zone. Little to my knowledge it wasn't just 1 hole, but 2. They fixed it for the price of one because I had purchased the tire not too long ago. On top of that, when I went there later with my third vehicle they hook met up on the price! Awesome service! I'll never go anywhere else, this is definitely the shop I came to love going to! Please keep up the work guys! We appreciate it a lot! Went there today with my 2008 Maxima and they even gave me a great price for 4 tires and then they replace a lug nut and some valve caps I was missing, on the house. So thanks guys! I owe you one :) You'll always have my business. more

Best Tire Deals 2/21/2012

I was replacing the tires on my dads 2009STS Cadillac- very EXPENSIVE tires. $230 for a new Michelin. I've known Mexican Tire Shop for a least 5 yrs now and they are friendly neighbors- so I decided to go to them. Four Michelin tires came out to $350.00, installed and all. Not bad. I have to also mention that Cadillac dealer told my dad to replace the tires 6 months ago- I went to check with the guys at Mexican Tire Shop then, and they told me didn't need tires yet!! Drove for 6 more months just fine.\r \r Not only does Mexican Tire Shop have great prices, but the have GREAT customer services. Everyone is friendly and you they are genuine. more

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER 2/9/2012

My wife and I were driving south 15 hwy to spend the weekend at Mother’s\r In L.A. Right after Baker, the rear passenger tire of my Dodge truck blowout. Aaahhggrr! Ok, so I called road side assistance. After an hour a guy claiming local showed up and changed my 20 inch tire for a used one. He charged me $150.00 total, for the tire and the service, telling me that both of the rear tires were bad. I kind of knew but after waiting for than 2hrs for the service, all we wanted is to be on our way.\r But guess what, right before D St. exit, the same rear passenger tire started separating and a big chunk of tire went flying right behind us almost hitting the small vehicle driving behind my truck. I got off the freeway looking for a tire shop. I stopped at a place that did not have my size tire so they recommended a little place on Seventh Street called Mexican Tire.\r I googled it and drove over to this small pops and moms shop. It looked so small I thought they will not have my tire size either. I walked in, told them I needed 2 tires. They asked me if I’d like the “newer” used tires or the brand new ones. Whatta H….l!! Who would of thought. I went for the newer used ones with only 500 miles on them. The total for the 4 matching Pirelli Scorpion ATR 275-55ZR20 tires, with balancing, installation and whatever else they do, was $400.00 out the door. My wife and I were ready to spent $900.00 to $1,000.00 for a set of new ones but when I saw the great quality of these tires, even my wife agreed that it was a sweet deal. \r I felt great knowing what a great deal we got on these tires.\r The guys were friendly and one of them spoke English very well (not to be racist, but it helps, really). The two younger guys took off my tires out, the new ones on my rims, and we were out in NO TIME!\r The also made me aware that the tire I had jus paid $150.00 for, it was recapped. I was astonish and upset. The tire looked good and it end it up being a piece of crap. It’s scary to know that some people would put lives in danger for a couple of bucks. What an as…le!!\r I TOTALLY recommend these guy at Mexican Tire, they straight up, no frills people. Be sure to tip the kids that are putting the tires on though.\r They are working HARD for the money. Keep it up guys!! more

Best used tires in the High Desert 4/7/2011

Mexican Tire Shop Guys Rock!!!\r They have the bestest used tires of all of the high desert. Yeah! Is true. I have visited more then few used tire shops and by all means they have tires that have been not only used but abused and with ridiculous prices. The tires at Mexican Tire shop are barely used at reasonable price. Best of all, these guys are very friendly, knowledgeable and fast workers, you don’t see neither in those other tire places. Hats off for you guys at Mexican Tire Shop! more

Best Tire Shop In Town 1/24/2011

I don’t know much about tires. All I care is having the best tires for the less money. \r That is why I’m recommending to all of you this little tire shop called Mexican Tire Shop \r on Seventh St. in Victorville. The only tire shop that operates on Sundays\r They have the best tires I have seen. They say these tires are used, but honestly, the tires this places sales are like new. The people working there are respectful, honest, fast and very friendly. I’ve found my tire place! Thank you guys! more
