Arranged our pickup for dinner and some sight seeing. Very nice and clean car and so was our driver. We arranged them also to pick us up the next next afternoon to take us to the airport also.\r They called us ahead of time to confirm our pickup and even suggested we may want to go 15-20 minutes early because there were reports of heavier than normal traffic that day. Great follow up and excellent service. We will be back in town for the Superbowl in 3 days and will definitely use this company. EXCELLENT!!! more

I took the advice of others reviews, they were 100% correct: Metry Cab was on-time, courteous, very reasonably priced, and personable to boot. Around 11pm we called for a ride to the airport at 5am the next morning, after being disconnected by another company twice. Not only did we NOT have to wait on hold for an hour, but the guy who took our call actually thanked us for our business. That never happens with cab companies! So the cab arrived 5 minutes early, and he drove us to the airport. When we ran into a couple of construction zones and closed streets, he let us know which detours he was taking and why, which was much appreciated. Overall it was a swift, stress-free ride and the driver got a nice big tip. These guys are a class act. more

Provided our sports logistics crew with quality service during the Final Four. Anyone who was in town knew that it was hard to get a cab with that much business in the city but Merty Cab was a good dependable choice for us. Im sure others will be negative about wait times and such forth but you have to realize the volume of business in the area this weekend, it was hard for anyone to get a cab from any company! more

For the past 8 years my family and I have been provided with very friendly service and patience on the drivers part when dealing with our handicap child. We will always use this company for our taxi needs and their longstanding reputation is why my family and friends have always used them. I have been a resident of Metairie for only 2 years now. Being a single mother of 3 and working a full time job in the medical field is very stressful. I must say that I have depended on Metry Cab to take my children to school and myself to work and have had nothing but good experiences with them. Ok its New Years Eve, I have never used a cab before and even I know if you expect to get a cab on time without any issues you had better call way way way ahead of time or even days in advance. This is what my family did with Metry Cab to arrange our transportation for our New Years fun. Every cab company out there will have a waiting period or even not be able to service you because everyone and there grandma wants a cab on New Years Eve, so if you couldnt get a cab because you waited till 10 minutes before you needed a cab dont get upset when you have an hour or so wait. People its New Years ! Our experience with Metry Cab on this New Years Eve was perfect for us, we scheduled everything ahead of time and the cab was right on time. Driver was very friendly took good care of us. I have lived in the area all my life (54 years) and I have never had to use a cab before but have always known Metry Cab. I mean who lives in Metairie and hasnt heard of Metry Cab! I would like to say thank you to them for providing us with good transportation on this New Years Eve and Happy New Year Everyone! more

Took a cab down to the football game the other night and everything was great. When we saw the traffic I thought we were doomed because we were already running late. The driver said dont worry I know ways around the traffic, and yes he did. We got there in good time, definetly will use these cabs again. P.S. to the guy who lost his punch in the cab, are you sure it actually got loaded into the cab. I have forgotten things on the counter of the supermarket before. Kinda odd that the guy would want a $3.00 bottle of punch after atleast telling you that you did indeed forget something else in the cab. You are lucky they even helped you with you stuff, lots of times they wont help you at all! more

Used them to be picked up from the grocery store. After I got home, the driver helped me unload the cab. He told me there was one item left in the back. I grabbed it and paid him. Well after I get inside I realize he was wrong and a gallon bottle of punch was still in the cab. I called the dispatch and he acted like ""oh well!"". Even though the driver told me there was nothing else! I do not know why they would want to screw a customer over a 3 dollar bottle of punch, but I will never use them ever again. more

As everyone knows the day before thanksgiving is crazy. We called 3 days in advance to arrange our pick up from the Airport. When we arrived at the airport there was that initial feeling of ""I Hope The Cab Is There"" and yes it was. The driver was very nice and friendly and we located him easily since he had a sign with out last name on it. The SUV was very nice and clean and he assisted us with our luggage. When we arrived at our in-laws house we noticed the rate was cheaper than we had calculated from the information we got from the Airport web site. There was 3 of us and he was only charging us for 2. When we questioned him he said he (himself) does not charge for children riding with parents. We found this to be very professional and nice. We paid him the amount he requested and gave him a nice tip to which he refused but we insisted and said Happy Thanksgiving! This was a type of service we use to get when we were younger back int he day and thought that all this had eroded away over the years as has everything else in our society. We appreciate this and would tells others about them. We have already set up our pick up to go back to the airport on Sunday. more

Metry Cab is a really great service. I tore my ACL and am unable to drive for a month, so I set up an account with Metry Cab and they bring me EVERYWHERE. They pick me up at home, drop me off at work, pick me up from work, etc. So, I know this company and the drivers very well! They are all very friendly, just genuinely good people. The owner, Mrs. Cheryl, is one of the nicest ladies I have ever talked to... she told me they would treat me like ""their own daughter"". And they certainly have! I recommend this company to everyone.. they are reliable, always on time, and treat me great!!!! more

Arranged our Airport pickup through them using phone app. and had no problems with fast service also. Cab was clean and the driver was extremely friendly. We will definetly use them again on our trips to New Orleans. more

After being ripped off on our inital cab ride with another taxi we decided to call this company for our return trip and realized immediatley the difference in service we got from this cab. The driver also confirmed that we were ripped off because this drivers meter was about $40.00 less than what we paid to get to our location. He said it was suppose to be a meter run not a flat rate and thats where we were taken advantage of. Well we liked the honesty on this drivers part and the entire transportation experience with him. The cab was clean and he didnt drive like a crazed maniac. We understand these guys have to deal with alot of people and not one driver or a company can please everyone but we were very satisfied with this company. more

I have been a customer of Metry Cab for over 35 years. I am an african american male and have never had anything but good service to me over the last 35 years!!! This company has always been nice and have had above average clean cabs, I wont say I never got one that wasnt right off the showroom floor but they have always been nice!!! more
