This is a great store! Small?, Yeah so what! They are more of a specialty grocery store with high quality and lots of class. I don't do my regular shopping there but it is always a treat to go there and I always stock up on their cioppino base, and check out everything else. Just add your favorite seafood to the base and dig in. It is fantastic!!! Pros: Class Cons: Price (maybe) more

quality vs quantity 8/15/2005

cheaper milk..... better meat and beautiful vegtables . I only shop here now vs safeway and have saved money because of it Pros: staff, freshness, choice Cons: small more

There is in fact a Queen Anne Thriftway in Tacoma. And it's even better than the one in Seattle. There's also a Safeway across the street from this QA location, but I'd never shop there unless I needed Wonder Bread or something. This place has a great deli, an awesome wine selection and really fresh produce. It is more pricey, but you get what you pay for. more
