I had Metropolitan Detail do a treatment on the inside to remove smoke and smoke chemicals from the inside of the car. After the first time, there was still some smoke inside the car, so I took it back and they redid it for free because they wanted to make sure I was happy with the entire experience. They were excellent. more

I think the quality of the work Metropolitan Detail has done is unmatched. I haven't been able to find anywhere else to rival their knowledge, experience, and quality of work. They do a great job of picking up my car and dropping it off, but I probably would want an even more timely turnaround with the car if possible though. more

I got my car detailed at Metropolitan Detail and they did an excellent job. They actually also put some air purifiers in there, and had somebody come out and fix a leak for that, and that part they did for free. They were really good, and they treated me really well. more

I have been taking my car to John and Ben at Metropolitan Detail for four years, when the were still up at the old location. They have always been good, always. Their work is exceptional, and I haven't found anything to match it. They do everything. The last time I was there, they did a nanoskin detail, and it was very good. It involved interior/exterior detailing, as well as the engine. The car looks great. It's a 2004, but people will stop me on the street and think it's a 2008. In fact, John and Ben mistook the year themselves the last time I was in, and that was after not going to them for almost a year. Metropolitan Detail do fantastic work, and the only downside is the price. This just means that I can't take advantage of them as much as I would like. But what you get from them is exceptional, regardless of what you spend. You definitely get your money's worth. Bellevue is fortunate to have them. more

As a long time car enthusiast who loves to detail his own cars, I can tell you that there aren't very many in this world who I would trust my fleet of cars with. There is a reason why I commute three hours to see John, Benjamin et al for paint protection film, tint install and piant correction/protection. Their skill level matches their passion for perfection. more

I took in a new 2011 Jetta TDI to get tint, Venture Shield (clear bra) and the Matrix Micro coating. Right from the start they were very professional and you can tell that they really believe in their products and are proud of their work. It's always nice to find people that value doing a job right. When deciding between which shop to take the new car to; Metropolitan was pretty much the most expensive advertised price. However, now I have no doubt that the difference in the quality of their work far exceeds a few dollars savings from going to a less expensive shop. In fact, just having the job done so well from the start means I'm not wasting time having to follow up with complaints. The other big win is the no hassle free loaner car. It's just one less thing that I didn't have try and figure out while being without a car for a couple of days. Which brings me to my last point... They really worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted up front and then delivered what they promised. They ended up getting me my car back a day sooner than expected and had to do more work correcting paint flaws (that the dealer added from improper cleaning). These guys were friendly, professional and passionate about quality. I strongly recommend them to anyone getting this kind of work done to their car. The difference in cost is not that much and is more than made up for by their quality. more

Metropolitan Detail cleaned my very dirty, 10-year-old car. I have raised a daughter and 4 very large dogs in that car, so it had gotten dirty and it neither smelled nor looked good. So, they cleaned the inside and outside of the car and it looks great. It is a 2001 Toyota Highlander, and it looks brand new. I am very pleased with their service and I will definitely return. Every one was very professional and nice. They made the whole experience easy. They even lent us a car. Metropolitan Detail is not very close to our house, but they are well worth the drive. more

Metropolitian detail picked up my vehicle before I even took possession of it. They picked it up from the dealership, tinted the windows and returned it in a timely manner. They then called to let me know it was all done. The car looks great and I will use them again for future needs. more

Evidently, coffee had spilled on my backseat and shen it was shampooed, it becamse visible. The carpet was wet for several days afterward. more

I have used Metropolitan Detail for probably 3 or 4 years. I have brought them a number of different cars, of different color and size. I have gone to other detail shops as well, but Metropolitan Detail does the best job. The car is always done on time. They have done full details for me, and I have gotten the two step coating for after details that is supposed to protect the paint. Last year when I had the coating, I pointed out to them that it didn't seem to work well. This year, when they received new coating, they gave it to me for free. They are good at making their customers happy. more

I had my new to me Volvo C30 detailed at Metropolitan Detail on 8/22/2010. I purchased my car from a reputable dealership, but didn't think to ask them if the car had ever been smoked in. The car seemed to smell fine when I purchased, but about a week later, it really started to smell of cigarette smoke. I have bad allergies, and couldn't deal with this odor in my new car. Based on a co-worker's recommendation, I stopped and spoke with John at Metropolitan Detail about removing the odor. John came in at 7, even though they open at 8, just so I could make it to work on time. After a day at Metropolitan Detail, the car was back to smelling clean and fresh. They even treated the air conditioning system, so the smoke smell wasn't coming through my vents. This was definitely money well spent, and now my new car feels new again. The free loaner car was also very convenient. more

I have been working with Metropolitan Detail for several years, having them do a Matrix treatment on the paint for my Mercedes Benz, as well as maintenance work, many washes, and conditioning. If I had a need or a problem, they would solve it. Also, if you call them in advance and set up an appointment, they will give you a loaner car for the day. I've recommended them many times, and no one has been disappointed. They're different than any other detail shop I've worked with and a better value than you get at most dealerships. Most detail shops you go into feels like going into someone's backyard. This one is not that way. more
