DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE 8/9/2011

The sales rep lied to me about their packages and speeds, so I signed up thinking I was getting much better than what I actually paid for. They made me wait over a week to hook it up and when I called them to figure out why my speeds were so slow, they treated me like an unimportant child who did not matter and then hung up on me when I asked for a manager. more

Spotty service 7/21/2009

MetroCast in Waterford is unfortunately one of the few cable options in Waterford and is plagued with frequent interruptions in service, many changes in the channels in the selected package, difficulties in getting customer service to send repairmen, and an unwillingness to make refunds for periods when service is interrupted. Maybe not a good choice. Pros: Least expensive basic cable option. Cons: Frequent interruptions, spotty service, few refunds. more

Slower than a dialup connection that costs only 10 dollars a month 5/2/2008

Metrocas in the New London/Norwich area is terrible. Who gave them a 4 star rating? At a connection that is supposed to be 100 bps they tell us that at that speed our web browsing will "crawl". Pros: It's a backup service Cons: It is slower than our 10 dollar a month dialup, email and many cable channels do not work more
