With the rising gas prices and the headaches of driving your car in traffic the is my number one choice for getting to work downtown. With the new light rail system in place, this is a great tag team that will get you where you need to be on time and with less driving headaches. Give this a try and get rid of the gas and parking prices! more

Great Way to Travel 8/5/2005

The best thing to happen to Metro Transit is the new city train. It is an asset to the city. The train travels from the Mall of America to the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis. The train goes right by the Minn. Twins MetroDome, so it was great to get to and from the Twins baseball games. We have used it plenty of times with the children and they just enjoy the train ride even though it is a short ride. You can an all day pass or just pay as you go. You can even get the transfer to continue your journey using the very clean bus system. more

Take the bus! 7/29/2005

In need of a vacation? Take a city bus ride. You will meet some amazing people and how could you beat the scenery of Minneapolis? I have taken many buses in my life and I have to say Metro Transit has been the best quality. From the instant I stepped on I felt welcome and the bus drivers were very friendly and helpful. If I didn't know exactly where I was going or didn't know the cost, they were very helpful...and some would even give me maps to help me find my way. Instead of spending the $$$ on a taxi, hop on your local bus as it drives by! more
