Fine folks to deal with 1/17/2010

I had been looking for months for a later model replacement for my 05 Honda Accord hybid (superb car!). I saw a low mileage 07 Accord hybrid listed at Metro Toyota, and emailed about it. I got a prompt and informative reply, then did a series of additional messges back and forth with the internet salesman (Dan Taylor) and the manager (Chris Wirtanen). Both were very helpful, and they even arranged to take the car to the local Honda dealer so I could buy an independent second opinion. The car is great -- as they said it would be, and their service throughout the process of trading in my older model, including the paperwork smoothly handled by Jon, was a real pleasure. These guys are straight-shooters and went out of their way to please. An altogether satisfying experience! more

Metro's the best!! 6/13/2008

I was looking for a used Camry and visited a few other dealerships. When I went to Sunshine in Battle Creek they made me play a game all day on a Saturday with my salesman running back and forth between his manager and us. Wasted my whole day and the manager wouldn't even come over and say hi to us. Then the next week we went to Harold Zeigler's in Kalamazoo which had a used Camry on their lot. What a freaki' nightmare. This is a zoo full of idiots. They changed the price on the Camry three time before we got inside. We lefgt and went to Metro, we were in and out of there with our Cerified used Camry in a little less then two hours. Everyone was nice and top notch professionals. more

Metro Toyota is a great place. 2/13/2008

Went in about 2 hours before close and left with a brand new car. No hassle, our sales person was young and not pushy at all. I knew coming into the place exactly what I wanted and they didn't attempt to sway that. Best dealership experience ever and I appreciate that. Finance Manager was not a crook, got us a very low rate and didn't try to sell us a higher one or up the loan term to make the payments look lower. Highly recommended. Great place selling quality cars. more

Metro Toyota Kalamazoo is a great place for sales and service. 6/21/2006

Metro is a great place to buy a car. The sales staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they have a wonderful selection of both new and used vehicles. I bought my Highlander there after bad experiences at other nearby dealerships. \r \r The service staff has been great and is highly rated by its customers. more

Very rude sales person 12/1/2005

I'm in the process of looking for a new car. Went to an internet website and requested several quotes from nearby dealerships. This one takes the cake for rudeness and inefficiencies. I had listed exactly what I wanted and all I needed is an out the door price. Being they are car salespeople I had expected some quote for sticker price of some sort. However, not only they quoted some ridiculous # they also quoted the car with so many unrequested options. When I responded with a "thanks I got a better deal somewhere else" the reply was downright rude and saying basically that "the other dealership lied to you when they quoted you that price." Suffice to say that I won't deal with this person or company anymore. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. If you're looking for a toyota, I suggest going to either Sunshine Toyota at battlecreek or Suburban toyota at troy. Much nicer and professional people. more
