Metro Movers Rock 3/15/2013

This is the second move with Metro Movers. Moving is so stressful, but with Metro Movers I was put at ease. Both times the move went smooth and seemingly effortless. The staff that moved me worked hard, fast, and respectfully. They were considerate and listened to what I needed. This is a moving company I would recommend without hesitation. Pros: Friendly, fast, service Cons: None that come to mind more

what a relief! 6/21/2010

What a relief that my move was made so painless by Metro Moving. Very friendly on the phone when I had to make changes to my moving plans, returned my calls in a timely manner. When Matt and Patrick came, they were quick, efficient, pleasant and helpful. They helped move my couch out the porch window out the balcony from the second floor. Everything in one piece and in my new home! Such a big difference from previous moving experiences when I couldn't wait to get the movers out of my house because it was so tense an uncomfortable. Best Movers Around 5/21/2010

I've used these movers twice for local moves, both times being ""perfect"" moves. We had different guys each time, and every person they've sent is top-notch.Both times they have beaten my own estimates, and come in under budget WITH the much-deserved tips. Exceptional Movers! I was very impressed. 5/19/2010

I called one day before I needed some muscle to help load a large storage into a moving van. These 2 guys showed up early and got right to work. If I tried to help, I was just in the way. They got everything loaded in less time than expected and it was packed very carefully and efficiently. Everything is treated as 'fragile'. this is a great company and I would recommend them to anyone. They are everything they advertise and also take all forms of payment. Way to go guys! these guys were great, didn't know what to expect as I scheduled last minute, but they accomodated my next day request, showed up on time, were proffessional and very hardworking, carefully packed to maximize space and protect furninture in the move, finished an hour earlier than I expected saving me $$$. Prompt & Fast 7/5/2007

I had two experiences with movers this past June. One was in Seattle. They had a cheap hourly rate, and they were nice guys, but they were late and took a hour longer than expected (3 hours total). \r \r When we got to Portland, Metro Movers unpacked for us. They were here on time. They were super nice and moved us in within a hour. Their hourly rate is a little high, but they only had a 1 hour minimum which is hard to find. They give you a fair deal. Instead of discussing their policy with me, the Metro employee told me to ""take my business and stuff it."" more

Great People and Service 9/12/2006

I was a little skeptical at first, but working with these people was great. We had to reschedule moving several times, due to closing delays on our house purchase, and they worked with us every step of the way. When the day finally came, the two movers were prepared with everything and knew exactly what to do. They were careful, courteous and personable. I was really, really, impressed with them. I only wish America had more companies and people like these. Good job Metro Moving. Two thumbs up!! Pros: Thumbs up all the way Cons: found none more

Great moving experience 7/11/2006

The two guys that did my move were great. They were careful with my stuff and they were so fast. No piece of furniture was a problem. They were efficient, had a good attitude and did an amazing job. They came in under their estimate and completed the job in 3-1/2 hours (three bedroom house). I highly recommend them! more

Good Moving Experience 10/26/2005

They picked up a couch at a warehouse and then met me at home to deliver and rearrange the furniture. One sleeper couch was heavy and a very tight fit. They never touched a wall getting it in. Nice guys. more
