I discovered this place in July 2005, and was immediately surprised. It rests in an unassuming nook below a Culver City hotel. However, the owners, Serbian transplants Alex and Sasa, have created a comfortable and friendly atmosphere during daylight, and a not-too-busy-but-active, and often intimate environment for dinner. Both of those match the food perfectly. the breakfast is the best in town - try any omlette or the French toast with homemade rasberry jam. The House Special (banana pancakse) is delicious but very rich - you might need to split it. Lunch menu matches in quality, but as the two are served during the same hours, I always go for the breakfast. They double the pleasure with a fantastic dinner menu. Service varies, but ther personalities shine. If you go more than twice, expect to be remembered. A great place to spend a Saturday morning - not just for a meal.
Pros: Great food, GREAT staff
Cons: Service can be slow sometimes
