Not worth it to work here in my opinion. For carrying a gun, OC spray, handcuffs, baton, and whatever else you carry, there is no official training for the use of any of these. Proper training is required and you receive none, so whoever said that the security officers are trained was lying. Defense training on certain sites should be required, as you are working with homeless, mentally ill, drug addicts and other unstable people. Some people have academy training and degrees in criminal justice but get the same pay as everyone else. All the boss is concerned with is your appearance. You will work with people who think they are actual police because they carry a badge. A few people who work/ed here got in trouble for impersonating. The Captain is not confrontational when it comes to serious matters, he laid 2 people off with a letter attached to their paychecks and if you address a concern to him over the phone, he responds with a letter attached to everyone's paycheck instead of just talking to that person about it. It would probably be worth working here if we started off with $15 an hour but it isn't. The uniforms look almost identical to a state troopers uniform. Some of the people he hires is questionable, seems as though if you have a Massachusetts LTC he will hire you no matter what physical/mental condition you are in. A few other people who work here have been arrested in the past and hired back. Dont expect to get a raise, sick time, holiday pay (besides christmas, new years and thanksgiving), 401k or any other benefits while working here. There are people who have worked here for 10+ years with only 1 week vacation. When asked for a raise, he constantly says there is no extra money in the funds. \r
All in all, if the person running the company had a logical head on his shoulders, it would have the potential to be a great company.
