Metro Cab Company Modesto

It is obvious that the positive reviews are planted by Metro cabs STAFF...last Friday was the third time I have had problems with these guys. I called 5 minutes before pick-up time and told that the car was on it's way and there in 15-20 minutes ... half an hour later, I called and they said 10 minutes .I tried twice more to get through but they did not answer..when they did, they asked if I'd got a cab yet...when a car did arrive (AN HOUR LATE ) it was so late that we hit the usual rush-hour traffic .. I will never be using these idiots again and will be making sure that nobody I know ever books with them. Out of spite . I wish I could give zero-stars. I called two different taxi services today -- neither showed up after more than 45 minutes. Then I called Modesto Metro Cab & United Cab and a driver was at my house in about 6 minutes! This is one of the more reliable cab companies to call late at night. The drivers generally arrive on time, and are tolerant of behavior that borders on obnoxious. Most will even ask what kind of music you want to listen to. This is one of the first numbers I memorized after moving to MODESTO California. 888-8888. So easy.... they are the only ones with the van taxi service in modesto. They also just have the best looking cabs in modesto as well, i like the drivers i always get. Pros: they have van Cons: takes about 25 mins. more
