I purchased a Grand Prix from this crap lot. Day one the window motor went out. I had it two days and on the way to my grandpas funeral the car started overheating. I was almost 200 miles from home in the middle of no where. After the funeral my day in his dress cloths had to repair my car on the side of a two lane high way. This was just the beginning of the issues. Next the traction control quit working. After that then the brakes only worked when they wanted to. I contacted them several times to get assistance with repairs but never the less they would not return my calls. On top of this after 3 months and $2500 in repairs I told them to come get it and I was told that it would be considered a voluntary surrender. But checking my credit report it shows a repo. I would not send my worst enemy to them to buy a car. more

I am writing this review to inform the un informed about Metcalf Auto Plaza. Metcalf Auto Plaza is not a great place to get a car. If you are looking to be up-side down in a loan that measures up to a interest rate of 18.5% and finance talks to you unprofessionally. They will try talking you into looking for a car that you don't want and they will try to get you to do less in monthly payments so 1. you owe them more in the long run and 2. you are stuck with them longer than what your car will be worth. I can't say that this company is a crook because we make our own choices but they will use the .99 cent slogan to their advantage but that is because their cars are way above book price and aren't worth much to anyone that has good credit or knows what they are getting themselves into. I hope this helps someone not make the same bad decision. more

I purchased a 2001 vehicle from Metcalf Auto Plaza in July 2008. Other than the oil needing changed, I have not had any problems with my vehicle. There have been 3 times when I was unable to make my scheduled payment and they worked with me. I think they are a very nice company and I would recommend them to others. I love my car and the low payments. Pros: A lot of cars to choose from Cons: Not many trucks or SUV's on the lot. more

HORRIBLE!!!! I cannot think of another word to explain this place. In September 2008, my fiance and I purchased a truck from here. The saleman was very pushy and rude and lied about EVERYTHING!! We looked at a truck and he told us it went through a full inspection and oil change just the day before. The truck seemed to be reliable and a nice looking truck. It was a 1997 Chevy Silverado. We purchased this truck and 10 DAYS LATER, we were having trouble with the truck. We took it in to our mechanic and he told us we had a HUGE oil leak. When they changed the oil, it was so clumpy and old, thy had to take a power washer to get it all out. They told us the repairs would be about $1600.00!! We called Metcalf and told them about this and asked them to fix it because we were still in our 30 day warranty phase. We took it to them and they fixed it and added the $1600.00 to our loan and made us pay for it. 3 days later the serpintine belt broke and we had to replace that. Now, February 2009, our transmisson has totally gone out!!! We contacted and met with Metcalf Auto and told them that the truck was a piece of s!@t and they needed to take care of it. We told them we could pay for $500.00 that day and a little more if necesarry. We told them that we had nothing but problems since the day we purchased the vehicle and they sraight up lied when they sold it to us and that they should be responsible and pay most of if. Amazingly they agreed to pay for it if we could just get it up there. Well $200.00 in tow fees later and 9 days later, they contact us and say that they needed to raise our payments like $100.00 a month to cover the cost for the transmisson!!! They have done nothing but lie and say that we have agreed to things that we know nothing about. They are liars and jerks and have nothing else better to do than to screw honest working people out of their hard earned money!! These people have done nothing but screw us over and waste our time and money.. Pros: Lots to choose from..... Cons: but they are all pieces of junk!!!! more
