Worst

got brake work done by them a year ago, the parts they use are very poor. The calipers they changed siezed and the rotors warped. the workmanship is not very good.

Complete Cheats and very, very Overpriced 3/11/2013

Wish I was able to give 0 stars, may be even negative. This place is out to just fleece you. I had some trouble with my front tie rod and they tried to sell me the most ridiculously over-priced parts. I showed them the same parts available online for much less. Then they agree to lower their prices. The staff has a 'know it all' attitude and tries to sell you unwanted services. I am never going back there again.\r \r Labor at $ 120/hr + taxes - are you kidding me. more

Do not go to this shop!!!! 11/7/2008

I went thier for an oil change. I was in and out, they seemed very friendly. I later found out they are very dishonest and did a horrible job. I was given a quote and was told I need my brakes replaced. Merlin's said I had very little brake pads left in the front and grooves in roaders. After 3 weeks had a check engine light on my car, I went to 2 other shops bith told me a did not need brakes for quite some time. I have 40% life left in the front brakes and 70% left in the back. I also had a bad oil leak, which was undetected by Merlin's. I was told by the other shop, if not fixed immedietly, My engine would seeze from lack of oil. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. When I called them On it they were nice and apologetic, but only gave excuses and had no answers. more

They are cheaters 5/28/2008

I had a flat tire, so I asked them to replace that with the spare one which was in the trunk. \r They charged me for replacing the tire, when they actually did not replace the tire. They just fillled air in the flat tire.\r \r Next time my friend took her car for service and oil change. She paid for Service and Oil change and then Immediately took the car to another service station to check if Merlin actually changed the oil. Found out that they did not change the Oil. \r \r These guys are cheaters. Never going back there again. more

Great Service 4/23/2005

I found a coupon for an oil change and went to Merlin's Muffler and Brake for the first time. The service was extremely quick and I walked in without an appointment. The guy at the front desk was really pleasant and friendly as well. The only complaint I would have is that they did not top off my fluids with my oil change which most places do as part of the service. PROS: Great friendly service CONS: more
