Best Auto Repair 5/18/2010

I have been going to Merkl's for the last 10 years. You can not find more honest and helpful auto guys anywhere. I love that I can drop my car off and walk home. I find their prices reasonable and they always check with you prior to doing anything expensive. I would recommend them to anyone needing honest and great auto repair services. Pros: honest great guys more

They have never let me down, reasonable and courteous. Provides rides to where ever you need to get to, pick up as well. Car was fixed right the first time, no hassles. more

Not very personable 7/8/2008

Worst repair shop in Denver 5/22/2008

Merkl's Automotive is a sham. We have questioned there pricing and quality of work several times. Yesterday I took my truck in for brakes, just front pads were needed. Later they called and told me I need new rotors, rear drums, basically a complete new brake job. The cost, just under $800. I picked my truck up took it to the Ford dealership. For $211 I got new front brakes, my rotors were turned and I was told there was enough thickness for at least one more brake job and the rears were fine. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO MERKL's and I suggest you avoid them at all costs!!!!! Cons: slow, poor workmanship, try to upsale when none is needed more

Not sure I'd ever go back 4/28/2006

Paid $600 to have a problem fixed. Turns out problem was not fixed. Went back and had to pay over $700 to have the actual problem fixed (negotiated down from over $800). Not sure if this was honest mistake, incompentence, or intentional deception. Didn't leave me with good feeling because I don't know which of the three it was. more
