I was wrong in a way. I was in your store on 8/11 in an attempt to buy a pressure washer, which I did not but when I got home, I realized the sale was 8/12-13-14. i went to the dept found the item but could not find ONE single salesperson to answer a question. Finally a customer directed me to a desk where I asked the intelligent one: do you do anything with pressure washers and he said no, not personally. I asked him again if he worked in the dept. Same answer. He then told me he would show me where they were and I told him, I knew. So we walked over and I questioned the price.He said he would check and when he came back, he replied. the sale must have ended. Hell, why didn't he know that the pricing was effective today, even IF he didn't work that dept? I was so furious I could have spit nails. I walked out and will not come back IF that type of help is all you can afford. I have spent good money in the past w/counter tops etc but I am done with you now. I used to work at Home Depot and if we would have been so non-challant we would have been fired. By the way, I had money in hand for the washer. more

He treats his emplyees like garbage. Do NOT patronize this store. I will never spend a dime in another Menards store again. If you only new how my child was treated at this store! I called the corporate office to complain and they treated me like dirt as well. Is this some sort of company policy? Menards sucks!!"" more

A classic old school hardware store going off track. They have way too much other crap in the store that has nothing to do with a hardware store. Lumber is generally good and when you get help, many know what they are talking about, but the store is hard to get around with all the extra junk crammed in. AND STOP THE STUPID MAIL IN REBATES! Pros: lumber and basic supplies Cons: too much other stuff (seriously, they sell beds!?!) more
