Jeff and Alan did my move. I only moved across the street and had about 10 heavy pieces to move. I had a huge glass curio cabinet that I didn't think I would be able to take with me because I thought it was to big to fit. Jeff and Alan attempted to move it and were able to successfully get it thru a tight spot. The move went perfect and everything went a lot faster than I thought. Moving can be overwhelming at the best of times, but doing it alone with 3 children could easily have put me over the edge. This was my first time using MOTM and I would definitely use them again. Moving can be very stressful, especially the actual day of the move. Men on the Move make it very easy to prepare their estimate, which was spot on, schedule and confirm. My favorite thing about the company is every moving team we have had. They walk in smiling, energized, friendly, polite and professional. This was our 5th move using Men on the Move and we can't say enough good things about the experience. It was a complicated move with many moving parts and the entire moving crew was top notch! Thank you to Harry, our Sales guy, and our fantastic crew of Courtney (foreman), Collin, David, Calvin, Robert, Bobbie, Andy, Jermaine and Kevon. From beginning to end they were professional and hardworking. The moving crew worked two days straight loading three truckloads of belonging into storage. They were pleasant, responsive, careful and worked like dogs from 8:30am to well after 10pm each night. All the time they maintained a wonderful demeanor and great attitude. I can't say enough nice things about this company. Highly recommend them. They also did a move for my mother-in-law from Manhattan to Florida. They moved many paintings and delicate items. Everything arrived in good shape and the family was thrilled. Thanks again, Men on the Move, for making this very stressful process bearable! more

First of all it was very hot when the guys came to my 5th floor small elevator apartment. They worked hard and carefully respected our personal effects. When they arrived at our house they didn't complain when each piece or carton had to be brought down in my basement or up there stairs to the Super hot attic. Kudos to Courtney, David, Andre, Collin, and James they did a great job ! more

My family used Men on the Move to move two homes, a basic swap on Long Island. They came the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. They arrived to both homes on time and were absolutely excellent, courtious, fast, worked very well with us. The three men constantly asked questions to make the move as fast and organized as possible. I have total respect and compassion for people who do such hard back breaking work. We constantly kept them hydrated made sure they had gatorades and water. We provided lunch for them and they were as grateful as can be. Both teams worked diligently and timely to make sure both trucks would be ready to roll from each house so that once all packed they were approximately ready to unpack. Once one truck arrived to one house the other was getting ready to leave. All 6 men shook hands and talked about what would be the best plan to move items based on what the one team had packed and what the other team had. I highly recommend Men on the Move. My experience with the ladies in the office was also outstanding. I dealt mainly with Loraine who was extremely thorough with the quote, put me at ease that as long as my description of items to move was accurate that her quote would come in accurate as well and she was absolutely right. She even provided me with her cell phone in case their were any issues the day of the move. Who goes out of their way to do that on a holiday weekend. Best on Long Island and the country if you ask me. Nice job Men on the Move. PS not to mention absolutely love the designs on your trucks in support of autism. This is the 3rd time in 19 years I have used Men on the Move, my son used them at my recommendation this past May. I have nothing but great things to say as far as their pleasant attitude, professalism and fast pace they kept. They are all such team player's, keeping me informing of every move. I USED MEN ON THE MOVE BECAUSE THEY WERE RECOMMENED TO ME. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERINCE EVER!!! THEY DAMAGED MY DESK, TV STAND AND BROKE MY 55" TV. I CALLED TO FILE A CLAIM AND WAS TOLD I WAS ENTITLED TO 30 CENTS A POUND FOR THE TV LIKE IT WAS SCRAP METAL WHEN IT WASNT EVEN A YEAR OLD. I WAS ALSO TOLD BY THE DRIVER I WAS COVERED UP TO $2500.00 FOR DAMAGES SO THERE WAS NO NEED TO TAKE OUT THE EXTRA INSURANCE WHICH WAS NOT TRUE. I WAS SUPPOSE TO RECEIVE A CLAIM FORM FOR THE BROKEN TV BUT IT WAS NEVER SENT TO ME. ALL I HEARD WAS HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FROM THE WOMAN WHO DEALT WITH THE CLAIMS AND BASICALLY I WAS ENTITLED TO PENNIES FOR MY BROKEN TV. PLEASE BEWARE WHEN USING THEIR SERVICES THEY WILL NOT OWN UP TO OR PAY YOU FOR DAMAGES TO YOUR PROPERTY!!! more

We had a wonderful moving experience with Men On the Move. Peter DeCarlo was our rep who was extremely helpful and professional. He assured us that everything would be okay especially since we had had some awful moves in the past. Courtney was the leader of "troops" and the other gentlemen were just amazing and easy to work with. They came a day before the move in order to help us finish packing (we called them a "packing hurricane" due to their speed and efficacy). Everything was packed safely and securely. Courtney made the move as easy and painless as possible and NOTHING BROKE!!!!! We can't recommend them highly enough and would use them again in an instant. more
