Excellent move 11/23/2016

This was the second time I used Men on The Move. This latest move on 9/20 was done timely, professionally, the men were pleasant and placed everything in my new apt exactly where I asked them to. One lamp was busted during the move but your Claims dept handled my claim promptly. more

Last minute move- immediate response! 11/22/2016

After I paid another major moving company $$$$$ to move to my new place, I had immediate regrets about leaving behind my grandmother's antique solid wood breakfront. I called men on the move because they were located nearby and within 45 minutes, I met them at my old place. The two fellows were courteous and took excellent care not to scratch the piece. Additionally, since I no longer had the key, the glass shelving could not be secured within. They gave me no guarantee that it would all arrive in one piece, however much to my surprise, they took excellent care to keep the cabinet steady and it was delivered with glass in tact. I would definitely recommend them! more

Very professional 11/21/2016

Men On The Move moved me. They were very professional, very quick, and professional. I moved from one town over. They handled my things nicely. It was my first time using them, if I had to, I would use them again. The price was good, they gave me some of my money back. I paid for the move to take eight hours and it only took six. more

Big move from 10 room house to 3 room apartment 9/28/2016

The 3 man team was scheduled to arrive at 8am. They were almost an hour and a half late. Because of this time glitch, the crew worked quickly but did seem rushed. The crew chief communicated well throughout the process of emptying our home in Stony Brook. A glass top on an antique dresser broke in the process of moving. Will call to follow up on a replacement. The next two steps went well. (moving into the apartment and bringing items to a storage unit) Quite a huge project. Overall a successful experience. more

don't know what to say here 9/20/2016

I feel like I was overcharged. They moved less stuff this go around. They were all nice and nothing in particular happened. I just feel the driver was a little perturbed with things that needed to be done. At one point I asked if I should use the blankets and sheets I had to cover the furniture and was told not a good idea. Then not 10mins later he was asking the other guy why he didn't use the sheets & blankets? SMH! I wouldn't use that crew again. As I said, they were very nice, it's just very nerve racking moving, I just would have liked to feel a little more at ease. more

Experience was not pleasant 9/11/2016

My experience with the movers was disturbing. The workers were polite and worked hard. However, I had someone come to my apartment to give me an estimate, and when all was said and done, the cost was $800 more than estimated. I did not take insurance, and I am still not sure if that was a mistake, but many items were broken. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them. more
