I created an account JUST so I could comment on this place.\r While it is true the photographer takes nice pictures that doesn't give ANYONE the right to be rude nor disrespectful. Someone called ME for my business and then had the nerve to become disrespectful when I told her I wanted to know prices BEFORE travelling to ""see albums of the photographers work"" He's not THAT good. more

I just want to say that all i did was shake my head while reading the other reviews! All I did was CALL the studeio- I didn even book them because of the rudeness I received on the phone... Then, I figured I would give the benefit of the doubt and look up their reviews. After reading these reviews, I know I made a good choice, and I think that if this woman wants to kill her business (especiallly in an economy like this one) then she should continue her arrogance.\r On to finding a new photographer... more

Does the photographer do good work? Yes. Of course, like most ""Staten Island"" places they think they are the ""best"" and of course there's alot better if you're willing to look beyond the island. The saleswomen would keep about 80% of people from booking with them just on her behavior alone, so you have to look past her which I attempted to do. If you can't take rude, abrasive, pushy, money hunry salespeople, meaning the lady who works there, then don't bother making an appointment. They won't budge on price, she rushes you every chance she gets and Donna is just not a people person. You would expcect some sort of customer serivce, guess not. I used Peter and Donna--against my better judgement. I figured I'd grin and bear it and have quality pictures in the end. Donna is enough to make you blow your fuse--she's rude, sarcastic and stuck up! I dreaded the few times we had to meet. As for Peter--I thought he was the lesser of the two evils but was wrong! The day of my wedding he yelled at my guests and rushed my make-up artists to finish!! To sum it all up my pictures are nice--but not worth it. I won't ever work with them again!! Lets get right to the point... Its only a metter of time before Donna ruins this business. Peter has a talent with the camera but has to grow a pair of balls. He listens to her way to often and she has the complete wrong ideas. She has no clue, she no more than a receptionist. I heard good things about Memories of Me, but my introduction presentation was very disappointing. We were rushed and felt as though we were an inconvenience to the representative. The photography was nice, but nothing exceptional. They offer 3 packages that are basically set in stone. They are not really willing to negotiate on the packages or prices. And their prices are not competitive - they are on the high side. Plus, they have a set number of color and black and white photos. If you wish to adjust this number, then the price goes up. A direct quote from the presenter is, ""Our prices never go down"", so I guess that means they only go up. Also, when we mentioned some ideas we had in mind, they showed no interest whatsoever. All in all, they were not accommodating in any way, shape or form - and this was during the introduction, which is the time when they are trying to win your business!
