I visited Memories Antique Mall in mid-October 2007 with a large group of friends, nearly all women. Upon entering the mall, we were informed that we had to check all of our purses. When several of us expressed concern about this, we were told, very rudely it was mall policy and HAD to be done. As I started to ask why, I was told again it was mall policy and if I did not like it, I could go sit in the bus to wait for my friends. Others in my group were told the same thing. I can understand such a policy, as sadly the world is going to the dogs, but to have no explanation other than it was mall policy, was horrendously rude. Here was a group of people, with a ton of cash to SPEND, and we were treated VERY POORLY. Out of 40+ people, only two people bought anything. With such poor management, I can see why there are so many empty dealer booths. I think this mall may be on its way out of business. It was a VERY BAD experience.
