I hate reading people's complaints about companies, especially when they sound ridiculous and exaggerated, but now I feel I'm about to sound just like one of those people...only I wish I were exaggerating. This is not a company you should trust to treat you as an important client.
Though attempting to contact our representative over and over during the loan process, through phone and email, he rarely ever answered his phone, returned a call or replied to an email. Never once did he contact us on his own just to tell us things were on track, or any kind of status update. We constantly had to pry information out of him. And along with him, we dealt with 2 other individuals, who were just as bad with communication (with us and each other) and customer service. Between the 3 of them, they repeatedly lost paperwork (which we had to resend), forgot to ask us for certain things, and waited until the last possible moment to request documents and other items to be completed. I can understand a misplaced piece of paperwork, but not repeatedly, and the rest is completely inexcusable. It might be just a job to them, but their job directly affects lives. Their job affects whether or not this whole homebuying process falls through. I will be amazed if we close on time, and at this point, don't see how it's even possible. And even if we do, that will certainly not change my attitude toward this company.
Buying a house is stressful enough without having to deal with sheer incompetence. Find a different lender and don't take the risk here, especially if you're a first-time homebuyer.
