Good meal but expensive 9/25/2005

I went The Melting Pot restaurant because my friend had been there before and wanted to go with me to this restaurant. She pre-warned me that the restaurant was a bit expensive, and of course she was right. The ‘Standard” meal cost $50 for two people. There are several options you can add to your mean to take the cost as high as you are willing to pay. The meal, service and atmosphere were all very good. We really enjoyed our dinner and would someday return to celebrate a special event. more

Great Fondue, But Pay A Lot! 9/13/2005

If you love fondue, and you have a bunch of money to spend, this is the place to go! Be warned, you will spend about $50 per person including non-alcoholic drinks, tax and tip. But it’s a great experience. In the middle of each table, there’s a warming grill and the waiters bring bowls to mix up different fondues – cheese, broth/oil, or chocolate. Their salads are excellent, too. It’s an awesome experience but be prepared in the wallet. more

Fondue! 8/27/2005

This is the most awesome place to go on a "date." It is romantic, yet fun. There is ample time for great conversation since you are cooking your own food. The full meal consists of cheese fondue, a salad, your main course and desert. You do not have to have the full meal, but I would recommend it. You can spend anywhere from 2-4 hours dining depending on how quick your move from course to course. It is a great place for birthdays, anniversaries or any other special occasion. more
