Melting Pot Restaurant

I love this place! The food is excellent and the service is top notch. Last time I was there with some friends, we got to try this fun new wine decanter that took up half our table. I was a little nervous going to the restaurant dateless with a couple because I worried that the menu would only cater to sharing a meal and I would be the odd woman out. To my delight, we were able to work out a meal for three. If any of you singletons out there have this concern, do not worry, the staff will work with you to make sure you're 100% satisfied. This place is a great getaway. Be ready to be there for a few hours but theres no better way to catch up with old friends or have a romantic date. Not only is it great food but it is fun and entertaining. The booths are very private and the service is good. The desserts are great so make sure you save room! I would highly recommend. the place is intimate and I guess if you like SWISS food. Fondue is not French its a place to visit on occasion. It is very pricey for this area probably because it is a franchised concept and has to conform. Pros: fondue is good Cons: pricey, fondue is ??? more

We've been here a couple of times! Great atmosphere....lots of private tables which provide seclusion from the rest of the restaurant. Incredible wine list. Best thing by far is dessert. This is a great date restaurant and the only fondue restaurant in the area. Service is always wonderful, but expect to be there for at least 2 hours. We visited the Melting Pot for the first time in March on our anniversary. It was one of the best restaurant experiences we've had. We were seated in a private booth nestled in the corner of the restaurant. Neither of us had ever fondued before, and really didn't know what to expect. Our server promptly made us feel at ease. Our dinner was so much fun and very romantic! A manager visited our table and helped us with our wine selection. The Melting Pot has a huge wine list and we were greatful for her recommendations. We could not believe it when she informed us that because it was Tuesday, our bottle of wine was half off. It saved us $30 on our check! Since our anniversary, we have been back twice....once by ourselves and once with a large group. Both times, our experiance was worth raving about.
