The Newtown Bookshop is the only store in town with a full selection of unused books. Although its limited space compared to bookstores in malls prevents it from carrying a vast assortment of books across all genres, there is clearly an effort to represent as many different types of books as possible. Unlike Borders or Barnes & Noble, there aren't too many discounts given on most books, but there is a frequent buyer program that provides some coupons. The store makes good attempts to organize events and book clubs for children and adults. The staff always appears willing to help customers find the books they're looking for or to make recommendations.
