I have no idea what amkline is talking about. I have known Kevin for 3 years and have been renting from him for 2 years. Every issues I ever had whether it was a maintance issue, or a problem with rent being late, he was always caring and considerate. If anything the reason why this amkline lady is complaining is the fact that she treated the place poorly and was angry when he took the damages out of a deposit. Every company does this. He was thorough during my walk through and is in the process of selling me a home at the end of 2014. So in short of this comment. I highly recommend Kevin Melonas and Melonas&Associates more

This is pretty surprising. I have been renting from Melonas/Citywide for over a year now. I am thinking of buying and thought I should do some research before I try to purchase. The surprise is that such negative reviews could be posted. I have not any issues as described by previous reviewers. The worst case was an issue with some pigeons roosting near my roof. The exterminator was paid by Kevin and came out multiple times without solving the issue. We are renters and if we want a rental that is essentially perfect we should go to a huge complex where they wait on you hand and foot. My guess is that less than perfect credit makes that option not cost effective. I personally wanted a single family home with plenty of room, that's how I ended up where I am now. City wide leases is another Melonas associates business. Kevin the owner is a liar. \r He does not return phone calls. It takes weeks to get him to return a call, especially if something is broken. My sink was broken for an entire year. My fireplace was broken for 5 months and not fixed at all. He kept $1200 of my security deposit saying I broke things in the unit. Fact is he refused to do a move in inspection, saying ' I know what's broken don't worry about it'. Then charged me for broken screens the fireplace etc. I gave him written notice on email, phone calls, and texts. When the refund came to me, he took $690 for unpaid rent saying I never notified him. I have the email. He will say anything to get you to rent and take your deposit without any real reason. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN, HE IS A LIAR. more

DO USE USE MELONAS OR CITY LEASES. Kevin Melonas will lie to make money. I am a single mom with two kids. I asked Kevin to help us find a place to live. He told me the condo he had listed was kid friendly. It was horible. The occupants did not like kids and said kids could not be outdoors playing. He refused to do a move in inspection, becuase he told me, 'I know what's damaged it is not a problem' and then blamed me for it. He took $1200 out of my deposit for broken items. He does not return phone calls when something breaks. It takes weeks/months. My fireplace was broken for 5 months and was never fixed. The sink leaked for the entire year I was there and ruined my cleaning supplies under it, shorting out the electrical outlet. I gave 30 day notice to leave and he agreed, Then when deposit refund time came, he said I never notified him. I have the email. He kept $690 saying it was unpaid rent since I moved out early. He was there the day I moved out and wished me well. DO NOT TRUST A WORD HE SAYS. Email me if you are also a victim of his fraud. There is a lot more, but these are the key elements to highlight. more
