I purchased my camera at Mel Pierce, along with some accessories. They refused to give me a refund when I attempted to return a couple of the accessories, even though they were unopened.\r \r I also had a similar repaor experience to Barry B's. \r It took them over a month. 11 months later, the camera is broken again (circuit short, same as the last time). more

Good Service 10/30/2009

I did read the other reviewer. I have used Mel Pierce for years. I did bring in 2 cameras for repaid and yes it did take longer than I was told but I have had supplier delay parts myself. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgable - Mario certainly regarding Canon. Pros: small store with attentive salespeople Cons: not much parking more

Repair rip-off!! 9/24/2009

I brought my Canon 5D MkII in for repair as I needed some immediate attention to this professional camera. Marc tells me it would take 6 weeks for Canon to repair it if i sent it to them, a complete lie. Marc and his repair team not only took over a month to fix my 5D they damaged it during the repair. i can not express my regret for walking in the door of Mel Pierce Camera. Any respecting photographer should know what is going on within their repair department. Cons: Marc in repair=beware more
