I have used Mel Car Electric for the past 2 or 3 jobs I needed done around the house. When I call, I am able to make an appointment, if not for that day, then for the next day or so. Today we had electrical service on our pool heater. Dan A. was extremely knowledgeable in not only completing the job but also identifying some other potential electrical problems that we might have with our system. He corrected all the issues in a timely and proficient manner. It's a great concern when dealing with electricity right next to a swimming pool and Dan made sure that every aspect of the electrical connections were completed with our safety as his greatest concern. He did an excellent job and we feel totally confident that our pool is once again safe and properly grounded. In addition, we called with a short timeframe to work with and Mel Carr bent over backwards to ensure they could get here to complete the job quickly. Dan A. was able to troubleshoot why the power wasn't working in one bedroom. The house was built in 1920 and has had a few different people playing with electrical stuff. Dan took the time to figure out and fixed the issue! We had such a great experience that we had Dan come back to install an outlet. I would recommend Dan A. and Mel Carr Electric to anyone! more
