DO NOT Take your vehicle here - they are out to rip you off and damage your car! My daughter took her car - they could not figure out how to hook up for inspection - caused check engine light to come on and failed her inspection - BUT THEY CHARGED her anyway - also had oil changed - EXACTLY 2 weeks to the day she called and said ""my oil light just came on"". I advised her to immediately have it checked - she took it to Sears Automotive and found out there was NO OIL IN HER CAR! They had put the drain plug in about 2 threads and all her oil leaked out. Sears was kind enough to tighten the plug, replenish her oil and check everything else out. They even offered to be a witness if needed later due to the fact we have no idea if this has caused engine damage to her car which is only 4 years old. But Pete at Meineke was kind enough to make a list of repairs that were needed into the 1000's of dollars on her car while he had it. what a joke this place is - again - DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE as they will cause you more damages and more MONEY - praise God and pass the checkbook!\r more

Honest place to take your car. 5/5/2012

I took my car in to get the A/C fixed. I figured there was a leak somewhere in the lines. Matt looked it over and found no leak at all and he unplugged the compressor clutch and plugged it back it and now my A/C blowing cold again! Matt also diagnosed a bizzar electrical problem my car has been having, which nobody else has been able to seem to figure out. The most impressive part was they didn't charge me for dime! I would have at least expected to pay for their time, but they said they didn't fix anything so they weren't going to charge me. When times are tough and it is hard to find a honest mechanic, it is nice to know there is one at this Meineke! more

My husband and I take both of our vehicles to Pete and his crew at Meineke Car Care Center and have always received excellent service. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and Pete and his wife have always been very honest and friendly!!!! In a day and age when honesty is hard to find, it was very refreshing to know that we had found a repair shop that stands on honesty. more

WONDERFUL PEOPLE 3/11/2012

I am a working mom and I don't know much about cars. The crew at Meineke always thoroughly check out my car and let me know how what repairs are needed. They never pressure me, but they take me to the car and educate me. They help me set priories and plan for repairs and maintenance. I have an older car that needs some tlc. The team at Meineke is professional, kind and fun to be around. You can't go wrong here. They have great coffee too. more

Really Cares about the Customer! 2/12/2012

I'm Pete. My wife and I own the Meineke in Denver, NC. We performed a state inspection on the above reviewer's vehicle, and found some loose suspension components- the ball joints. During the state inspection process, when performed properly, occasionally a safety-related problem may be found with a vehicle that may require attention in order to pass inspection. We are required by law to fully check a vehicle, and we just can't sell a customer an inspection sticker without checking a vehicle. Our customer always has the option to have their vehicle repaired either at our facility, themselves, or any other facility of their choice. more

Out For Big Money 12/3/2011

Took my vehicle for state inspection. Was charged for inspection although vehicle did not pass. Told that vehicle needed extensive work to pass the inspection and given 3 different estimates ranging from 400-1100 dollars any of which would make the vehicle pass inspection. more

after BIG PROFIT!!! 11/27/2011

took vehicle for state inspection.was told my vehicle would not pass inspection. was handed 3 different estimates on ball joints and alignment ranging from 400-1000 any of which would pass the inspection.\r I took the car down the street it passed inspection and was ADVISED to get new ball joints in the near future. I have since gotten estimates and none are as high as meineke in Denver.\r These folks are after big sales and big profit more
