Having eaten at most of the Mediterranean establishments in the Pittsburgh area, I can comfortably say that the Mediterranean Grill is the best of the city. The food is consistently outstanding and a good bargain, particularly for lunch, when for less than $7 you can get a delicious falafel or kufta pita, stuffed with fresh and expertly seasoned goodies.\r

Amongst the items that I've tried, the falafel (best around) and Moussaka stand out. The latter is like a Middle-Eastern version of lasagna; it is excellent and very filling. The kabob's are great, too. Serving sizes are always generous, and the service is good.\r

Located in the basement of a larger complex, this place is easy to pass by without noticing, but don't miss a chance to go in and try the food.
Pros: the food, in general
Cons: fills up fast in the evening
