This was the first restaurant I went to in Freeport, ME and it was a great place to go. I got the Vegetarian Musaka and lamb soup and my wife got the Shrimp Guveech and lentil soup. The musaka was delicate and full of great flavors. The guvech had great texture that complemented the rice and was better than the water downed lobster chowder I had for lunch at a restaurant in Portsmouth. I ended it off with a baklava. If you don't know much about mediterranean food, then this is a great place to go. The restaurant is beautifully done and has a romantic, casual feel. The owners did a nice job of giving it a contemporary look, even though I would have liked to see some more traditional items. I drank two of the local brews, which were pretty good. Ask to sample them before choosing one or go for their extensive wine list.
Pros: excellent food, great ambiance
