I was looking for a moving company to move my belongings from my apartment in Santa Maria to a storage unit in the same city. I was recommended by Crossroad Storage Center that Meathead Movers would be a reliable moving company to go with....and I wasn't disappointed!
The customer service/sales staff when I first called was very friendly and quick to line up dates for me to begin my move process. Even though I didn't give them a lot of time in advance, they were able to schedule me with a move coordinator and they were extremely helpful in answering any pre-move questions I had.
The move coordinator that came to assess what I would need from Meathead for a successful move and to also give me a cost estimate was extremely professional, fast (in a good way), and overall very enjoyable to have in my home while in the midst of a [stressful] packing/move time.
I was a little taken aback by the estimated cost but this had been the first time I had ever hired a professional moving company. The move coordinator simply but yet, in perfect detail, explained to me where the costs were being generated. He also reiterated that the type of care and professionalism I would receive from my Meathead Moving crew.. (student athletes, drug tested, etc..) This type of attention to detail and care of the customer, really helped me realize that I would be extremely happy by choosing to go with Meathead to facilitate my move.
Come moving day, I had a two man crew from the Camarillo office. They gave me a call prior to their on-time arrival and once they arrived, they got straight to work moving my stuff into their truck. The experience of the Mentor mover showed in his ability to direct and tackle the move. They were extremely careful in moving my furniture out of a tight space and ensuring that things were wrapped up properly so nothing bad would happen in transit. I was amazed on how fast they were.... yes, they really do jog when not carrying stuff!! It was very impressive of the great attitudes and enthusiasm that both guys had about the job they were doing.
If and when I have to move again, I will be calling Meathead Movers after having such a great experience!
