This is just the closing statement of a three page review I wrote on this dealerships Service department. I was forced to limit what I said due to the character restrictions here.
I will never, NEVER, do business at Mears Mazda Volo in Lubbock, TX again and will never refer anyone to them. Their mechanics are: liars, terrible ones at that; cowards, who will not even face me to answer my questions themselves and have to use the Service Manage as messenger; and mechanically incompetent, to say the least! I was appalled that the Service Manager, who I have known through being friends with her husband for nearly two years, stuck up for her Technician, Chad, to the point that she became just as buried in lies as he was. Yet, no one would ever admit fault, which was really all I wanted. I wanted someone, (mainly Chad, but I knew he wouldn't show his face to reveal how long his nose had grown!) to admit to their faults and say they GUESSED WRONG and that the struts or axle shaft were not the real problems. They changed their stories to try and back their reasoning for the repairs they did SO many times it's unbelievable. I wouldn't doubt it if they use this as a ploy to dig deeper into people's pockets, like most mechanics do to unsuspecting individuals. However, I know when to call them out when I see it. I know it's time to cut my losses. Anyways, I was so disgusted by their actions at Mears Mazda Volvo that I couldn't stand it any longer. I told the Service Manager that Chad is not a very good liar, at all. Because even if the roads was covered in water and mud when he test drove it, it still doesn't explain why there are sticker burrs stuck to all four tires. And that all he is doing is giving Mears Mazda Volvo a bad name. Which now, I truly believe they rightfully deserve.
