Transmission leak in older car. Mears was prompt to schedule the car and do a thorough investigation of the leak. Made recommendation, based on age of car, to monitor fluid level as repair to correct would be extensive/expensive. more

I have tried many mechanics over the years and have found that Mears has been the most trustworthy ones yet. I feel they will not look for ways to overcharge me and provide the best value for my money. They strive to make it right if an issue occurs. more

In May I had my motor replaced by Mears because another company didn't change the oil or the oil cooler assembly correctly. I got my vehicle back after two weeks of Mears having it, "repairing" it. Three months later, I had to return it to Mears because they didn't replace everything that was broken, causing the motor to blow up, once again. They refused to give me a new warranty on my engine because it was "previous engine work". I feel like I should have received a new warranty since this motor blow was their problem for not fixing it correctly the first time. Unless it's absolutely necessary I probably won't be returning there. Along with the poor service I received, the staff is very rude and makes me feel unwelcome as soon as I step into the door. Beverly always has a poor attitude and a snotty tone in her voice. It also always feels like it's a chore for her to do something. When I call to ask to talk to Kevin or another associate, she sighs loudly and acts like it's a problem to hand off the phone. Bob is another employee that seems to have the personality of a wet dishcloth. He is always in a bad mood, he never smiles, he is rude, and is very tactful and never has a pleasant tone of voice. It just seems like non of the employees enjoy their line of work. more

the review title says everything that I look for when i am having problems with my car.....and that is what we got for our daughter's car at Mears Service. I will continue to recommend Mears to others for their auto service needs. more

Noticed intermittent noise on car and assumed to be brakes. Called Mears and they promptly scheduled the car for diagnosis, called with required repairs and quote. All four sets of brakes replaced next day - quick, quality service at a price well below the dealer service quote. Took my sons 2000 Honda CRV in. After we bought it a few months ago we discovered that the right front passenger window did roll up & down. Took it in, they thought it was a switch. Got the switch and that wasn't it (that was the usual fix). Ended up taking the door apart and figuring out it was some connectors for which Honda doesn't make the harness anymore because of the age of the car. Another option was going to cost $900 to fix it. In the end they got it working and I didn't pay nearly $900. I have a working window because Mears works hard to find the right and best solution at the best price. Thanks Mears!!! more

I had to have my car towed in because it wouldn't start. Mears found out it was a main fuse that was blown, and had it fixed very quickly and inexpensively. Thanks, Mears! more
