Horrible company!\r \r Horrible company! We had Realty Executives handle our property in Enterprise for about 8 years. The first couple years seemed to go smoothly, but for the last 6 years or so we have had nothing but problems with them and an EXTREME lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. The turnover rate at the company seemed to be through the roof, as we were constantly in communication with different people every few months. There were many issues with the organization of the finances of the company and our property and we had to spend hours trying to figure out missing statements, receipts etc. Realty Executives would take days and weeks to get back to simple emails. There were many times that I had to email repeatedly and call repeatedly to even get acknowledged that they were aware of the issues. I found out that the blatantly lied to our tenants regarding repairs that had never been fixed, because we were never made aware of them. We stayed with them because we are military and were never in the area. It got so bad that we had to eventually spend money to buy a last minute flight to go down to the home to take care of a multitude of issues that we were never told about and to cease the contract that we had with them.\r \r They have been blacklisted with the military multiple times for good reason. They ended up costing us thousands of dollars of damage to our home, because of the lack of care and information provided to us by them. They seem to have connections (or possibly literally be part of the business) to a company called ESMAC, which they have "fix" almost all of the issues in homes. They had this company come fix the same problem in our home about 5 times over the course of a few years, and it was never properly fixed. The company never checked or cared about the work that was done and we actually had ESMAC create more damage to our home. The absolute worst part of Realty Executives is their complete lack of customer service and common courtesy. I was lied to multiple times regarding when and who would get back to me about issues that needed to be addressed and felt as though we literally needed to physically be in their office to gain any response or information regarding our property. Stay away and don't make our mistake of dealing with the company...it will be a detriment to your financial and emotional well-being.\r \r \r \r We are very disappointed in the lack of customer service, attentiveness and the handling of our home by Realty Executives. more

As of 6/20/2013 Realty Executives, Meade and Associates, Inc. , is now off limits to all military personnel assigned to Ft Rucker. \r \r more

They have been taking care of my rental for many years. I do not even have to call or check up on the home often because I know Hugh and Eva's staff are there to keep my home livable at a high standard. Hugh and Eva have responded to every need that I have ever had. They ensure that all my maintenance and accounts are kept to my liking. Thank you for your kind support and service. more

As an active duty Army family, I can honestly say the service from Realty Executives has never been better. We did have some hiccups along the way, which mainly took place because they had a few new employees all at once - but that didn't stop Hugh from redeeming himself and improving the service. We look forward to continuing service with you. more

They have been instrumental in keeping our home rented for the last many years. Payments due are always paid to me on time and I like the new system with direct deposit. I have been with Realty Executives Meade and Associates Inc since 2003. I own in Enterprise, AL and live in LA. I have successfully depended on Realty Executives for the last nine years especially during my 2 deployments with the army in 2004 & 2008. They handled everything and kept me informed and up to date on all matters. I highly recommend them to any property owner wanting to rent their property and for anyone looking for property to rent. I am in the Louisiana Army National and I have found Realty Executives Meade and Associates Inc to be highly military friendly and understanding of military demands and changes. more

The fact that Realty Executive owners Hugh and Eva are retired military makes their horrible and unethical business practices even more treacherous and despicable. Their business is predicated on flight students being too busy to read through their lease or in too much of a hurry to fight their hidden fees when PCSing. \r \r Upon leaving, I am being charged an undisclosed $300 cleaning fee for a two bedroom townhome. This equates to two maids for $40/hour cleaning my little condo for over 7 hours. Additionally, I am not allowed to clean the house myself, now am I allowed to shop around for other professional cleaners to do the job for a reasonable amount. Doubtless, Realty Executives has a ""professional relationship"" with the cleaning crew that tenants are restricted to using.\r \r This company will take every dollar that they can from soldier tenants, will hold on to your deposit for the absolute maximum amount of time, and will ignore or bully anyone that questions their ambiguous lease agreement. \r \r I will be contacting JAG before PCS as well as informing my command as to this business' unethical practices. I hope that other soldiers heed my warning and DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. more
